Colonel Ellis was the Senior Marketing Manager and Battelle’s lead for Army Research Development and Acquisition (RDA) and Test and Evaluation (T&E).  He developed and shaped Battelle’s account for the Army Research Development and Engineering Command (RDECOM) and the Army Test and Evaluation Command (ATEC) and their subordinate organizations. Colonel Ellis was the Army Alliance's first VP and founded the Northern Chesapeake West Point Society.  He also served on the Board of Directors for the local International Test and Evaluation Association (ITEA), Harford County STEM Education Advisory Board, and as the deputy PM for the LABCOM Smart Weapons System. He was the Army Board Selected Product Manager for the Crusader self-propelled howitzer armaments R&D program. Colonel Ellis was responsible for developing and testing the main armament system for Crusader, the Advanced Field Artillery System. He also served as Artillery Technology Coordinator for the Ballistics Research Laboratory and as Military Deputy for the Weapons and Materials Research Directorate of the Army Research Laboratory. Colonel Ellis commanded the Aberdeen Test Center (ATC) - the Army’s largest general-purpose proving ground and a DOD major range and test facility. He was selected as the 1999 Army Acquisition Commander of the Year.

Colonel Gant is a strong Leader of cohesive teams incorporating diverse personnel and possessing over 30 years military experience consisting of over 20 years in executive level leadership, management, and education positions in healthcare administration and human resources.  Colonel Gant brings knowledge, background, and expertise in both areas with a clear understanding of the requirements of the VA and the Department of Defense. 

Colonel Gant’s past experience includes Medical Review Officer for the DoD PDBR, Senior Medical Analysts for ASA/M&RA, Principal Advisor to the Executive Director ESGR and Consultant to the Under Secretary of Defense for Reserve Affairs, Executive Officer for ARNG, Chief Clinical Services of ARNG Readiness Center, QA Manager for USAMCMD; and Chief Occupational Health for Maryland ARNG. 

Colonel Gant's clinical expertise include Gastroenterology/Endoscopy, Surgical Intensive Care, Radiation Oncology, Ambulatory Surgery, General Operating Room, and Medical Surgical. 

Colonel Gant holds a Masters in Strategic Studies from the US Army War College, a Masters of Science in Human Resource Management and Development from the National-Louis University, a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, and her Associate of Arts in Nursing from Harford Community College.  She is also NSPS and Lean Six Sigma Champion trained and holds qualifications and certifications in Human Resource Management and Health Promotion Director.
